Major: Public Relations
Graduation Date: Spring 2017
What quarter did you start working for CCA?
I started working for CCA spring 2016.
What clients have you worked with since you joined the agency?
For my first quarter in CCA I served as an Assistant Account Executive for the College of Arts and Humanities at CWU.
I worked quickly up the rankings serving as our General Operations Manager in the Fall and Vice President in the Winter of 2016 and now am the current President of CCA.
Why do you love working for CCA?
When I joined CCA I was a Junior in college that was just getting into my major. I did not really know how a communications firm ran or operated.
This has been such a life changing experience for me. CCA has taught me a type of professionalism that is expected in the work force which you normally do not learn in regular college courses.
The client work we produce is the same produced at a profession communications firm. This gives students the opportunity to enforce everything we learn in the classroom.
What was your greatest accomplishment within CCA?
I am honored to serve as our agency’s president. This has been such a great learning experience for my own personal development. Originally, I used to fear public speaking and being a leader. This position has helped me grow and thrive in the field of public relations and I cannot wait for the next step I take in this industry.
It is my goal to work for Microsoft.
What company’s PR/Marketing do you admire? Why?
Elysian Brewing Company has an excellent marketing team. They consistently produce new line of product with clever logos and designs that entices its consumers to be loyal customers.
